As if 4,482.57 miles in 10 days was not enough, we hit the road again after a three-day pause in Quebec City. We headed southeast, for what turned out to be a 700+ mile tour of the Maritime Provinces - New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.
By no means did we 'see it all,' but we thoroughly enjoyed what we did see. We ate seafood at least once a day for a week, watched the world's highest tides rise and fall in the Bay of Fundy, tried our hand at clam digging, and got in touch with my childhood at the Anne of Green Gables Heritage Place. We camped on the beaches of the Northumberland Straits, and I had my first real look at the Atlantic Ocean. We had the luxury of personal tours of several wineries, and poked around to our hearts' content in a marine museum and several teensy oceanside villages.
There is so much more of Canada to see. However, this is a region to which we would happily return again and again. Soon, we'll post photos from each stop on our route. For now, here's a handful of images to "whet your appetite."

Amazing pics !The last one is incredible ...
And I envy you so much : I'm a big fan of "Ann of green gables " but we never took the opportunity to go there ... what a pity. If I come back in the future in the province of Québec, I'll go for sure to Anticosti and to the Prince Edward Island ;)

That last one was taken by Jerod, and he was really patient, kept adjusting the camera settings, and moving around 'til he captured the moment perfectly.
Yes, if you have a chance to go to PEI, do it. When you go to Anticosti, I'd love to join you! I would really like to see that island. I'm so curious about it, after what I've read. And the photos I've seen of it are amazing.
