There is definitely a story....
That is most certainly the case for three special glasses of wine I sampled recently. Thanks to a tip from a fellow writer at the QCT, I made contact with a fellow whose business it is to navigate the complex regulations governing how wine, beer, and other spirits make it into Quebeckers' glasses.
He, in turn, introduced me to two wine makers and a wine exporter. All from Bordeaux (though one is a renegade from the Adirondacks), these charming folks told the tales of their wines. In between serving bottle after bottle to the throngs at the second annual Bordeaux wine festival, they took the time to be sure I understood that multi-generational heritage, cutting-edge sustainability initiatives, and a cheeky way of re-thinking tradition were their passions.
